Project Overview
Project Start: September 2018
Project: Jingzhou High-Speed Railway Station Lighting Project
Deployment: 4 × 20 m mechanical-lowering high masts, 20 × 6 m road lighting poles
Delivery Lead Time: 25 days
This project provided outdoor lighting for the station forecourt and associated access roads at Jingzhou High-Speed Railway Station.
A combined 20 m mechanical-lowering high mast + 6 m road lighting pole configuration was adopted. The 20 m high masts provided centralized lighting for the station plaza, parking and passenger circulation areas, while the 6 m road lighting poles served access roads and other linear traffic routes.
As a public transport hub with continuous pedestrian and vehicle movement, the project required not only large-area lighting coverage, but also practical maintenance access for 20 m high-level luminaires, coordinated road lighting, and synchronized delivery of two different pole systems.
The station forecourt is a large open space, while the access roads, parking edges, and circulation routes are more linear in layout.
A single mounting height would not efficiently serve both types of areas, so different pole heights and lighting configurations were required for different functional zones.
The high masts are installed in public station areas where future maintenance using large aerial work equipment could occupy traffic and passenger circulation space.
The high mast system therefore needed to provide high-level lighting while reducing the impact of future maintenance on normal station access and operations.
The project included both 20 m high masts and 6 m road lighting poles, with different foundation, flange, and installation requirements.
Pole structures and installation interfaces had to be coordinated with the civil works in advance to avoid on-site mismatch or secondary modification during erection.
The project required 4 mechanical-lowering high masts and 20 road lighting poles to be produced and delivered within the same project schedule.
The two product types required separate fabrication, pre-assembly, and inspection processes, while still meeting a common installation timeline.
A two-height lighting configuration was used to match the different spatial requirements of the station forecourt and road areas.
The 20 m mechanical-lowering high masts provided high-level centralized lighting for large open areas, while the 6 m road lighting poles were used along access roads and linear traffic routes.
The 20 m high masts were equipped with mechanical-lowering luminaire rings.
The luminaire ring can be lowered to ground level for major inspection, replacement, and adjustment, reducing the need for large aerial work equipment within busy station areas.
The 20 m high masts, 6 m road lighting poles, flanges, and related installation interfaces were prepared according to the site foundation conditions.
The lowering mechanism and major mechanical components were pre-assembled and function-checked before shipment to reduce secondary work on site.
The high masts and road lighting poles were manufactured on separate production schedules, with staged inspection and delivery arranged according to site construction progress.
All 24 lighting poles were completed and delivered within 25 days, supporting the station plaza and road construction schedule.

The project completed the scheduled delivery of 4 × 20 m mechanical-lowering high masts and 20 × 6 m road lighting poles, providing a zoned lighting configuration for the station forecourt and associated roads.
Key outcomes included:
→4 × 20 m mechanical-lowering high masts and 20 × 6 m road lighting poles completed and delivered within 25 days
→The two-height configuration matched the different lighting requirements of the station plaza and road areas
→Mechanical-lowering luminaire rings enabled major maintenance at ground level, reducing the impact of high-level maintenance on station traffic and access
→Factory-prepared pole and installation interfaces reduced secondary work on site and improved coordination with civil foundations
→Parallel production and staged delivery supported simultaneous progress across the forecourt and road-lighting works

This project demonstrates our capability to supply combined outdoor lighting pole systems for transport hubs, including:
1. Zoned lighting configurations for station plazas and road areas
2. 20 m mechanical-lowering high mast systems with ground-level maintenance
3. Coordinated factory prefabrication of high mast and road-lighting pole interfaces
4. Parallel production and delivery of multiple pole types
5. Complete delivery of 24 lighting poles within a 25-day project schedule
Lighting pole systems can be customized according to plaza size, road layout, mounting height, luminaire configuration, maintenance requirements, and site installation conditions for railway stations, transport terminals, airports, and other large public infrastructure projects.
