Project Overview
■Project Start: June 2022
■Location: Jieyang, Guangdong, China
■Quantity: 74 × 4 m hot-dip galvanized CCTV poles and 18 × 6 m solar-ready CCTV poles — 92 poles in total
■Factory Lead Time: 20 days, excluding on-site civil works, installation, and system commissioning
Scope of Supply: Poles and mounting structures. The solar-ready configuration included pole shafts, solar panel mounting brackets, and enclosures. Cameras, communication equipment, and solar power components were excluded.
◆Two pole configurations for different power conditions. All 92 poles were manufactured and supplied within 20 days.
◆This project supported security infrastructure at a large refined petroleum storage depot. Mains-powered CCTV poles provided mounting points for cameras, public address speakers, and emergency intercom equipment in the tank area. Solar-ready CCTV poles supported separately supplied solar power and surveillance equipment at outer-site locations beyond the existing mains network.
◆Pole structures, mounting brackets, and enclosure layouts were tailored to each location, reducing on-site modifications and supporting the project’s tight construction schedule.
Some locations in the tank area were subject to hazardous-area requirements. Electrical equipment and installation had to follow the project’s area classification and technical specifications.
The poles needed to accommodate equipment mounting, cable entry, and earthing connections while withstanding prolonged exposure to sunlight, rain, and humidity.
The tank area had access to mains power, while some outer-site locations were beyond the existing power network and used a separately supplied off-grid solar power configuration.
These locations required different equipment layouts, mounting brackets and enclosure arrangements.
Depending on the location, mains-powered poles needed mounting positions for cameras, speakers, emergency intercoms and equipment enclosures.
Solar-ready poles also required space for solar panels, suitable bracket support and coordinated enclosure placement. The structural layout had to account for equipment positioning, cable routing and ease of installation.
The project required two pole configurations, totalling 92 units, to be manufactured and supplied within 20 days.
Pole shafts, brackets, base plates, and foundation interfaces needed to be coordinated in advance to reduce fit-up issues and site modifications.
◎Tank Area: 74 × 4 m Hot-Dip Galvanized CCTV Poles
Mounting positions were arranged for cameras, speakers, emergency intercoms, and enclosures according to each location’s equipment requirements. The poles provided support for equipment at different mounting heights, with provisions for cable routing and earthing connections.
◎Outer-Site Locations: 18 × 6 m Solar-Ready CCTV Poles
The supplied package comprised pole shafts, solar panel mounting brackets and enclosures. These structures accommodated cameras, communication equipment and solar power components supplied separately for the project.
Solar panel brackets and enclosure positions were coordinated with the equipment layout, supporting security deployment at locations without mains access.
The 4 m CCTV poles used hot-dip galvanized carbon steel structures to reduce corrosion from moisture, rain, and outdoor exposure.
Base plates and connection areas received compatible corrosion protection, supporting outdoor durability and maintenance needs.
Equipment mounting points, solar bracket connections, and enclosure interfaces were prefabricated for each pole configuration. Cable routes were planned alongside the equipment layout.
Cable entry and connection provisions were coordinated with the project’s equipment and wiring requirements, reducing the need for on-site drilling and welding. Electrical equipment, cable entry systems, and installation in hazardous areas remained subject to the project’s applicable technical requirements.
Base plates, brackets, and foundation interfaces were coordinated separately for the 4 m and 6 m configurations, with consistent manufacturing dimensions within each type.
Batch production scheduling and pre-dispatch inspections supported the manufacture and supply of all 92 poles within 20 days, ready for subsequent site installation.

→92 Poles Supplied Within 20 Days: Both configurations were manufactured and supplied within the required factory lead time, supporting the project schedule.
→Different Power Conditions Addressed: Mains-powered and solar-ready poles supported equipment deployment in the tank area and at outer-site locations.
→Reduced Site Modification Requirements: Prefabricated brackets, enclosure interfaces, and connection points simplified equipment mounting and cable routing.
The site photographs show the two pole configurations with project-installed equipment. Cameras, communication equipment, and solar power components shown were not included in our scope of supply.

▲This project demonstrates our ability to supply both mains-powered CCTV pole structures and solar-ready CCTV pole packages for different locations within one industrial facility.
▲Pole shafts, mounting brackets, and enclosure layouts can be customized to equipment and installation requirements. Standardized production by configuration supports short-lead-time batch delivery across multiple pole types.
▲For projects combining mains-powered and off-grid locations, send us the required quantities, equipment dimensions and weights, power conditions, and installation requirements. We can propose suitable pole configurations and mounting interfaces.
