SolarGuard Integrated Off-Grid Solar Surveillance Pole Solution

From an in-house pole platform to a complete off-grid surveillance system

For sites without reliable grid power, where trenching is difficult or rapid surveillance deployment is required, we offer two delivery models: pole-only supply or a fully integrated off-grid surveillance system. The pole is engineered and manufactured in-house, while solar power, energy storage, control, power distribution, and equipment interfaces are matched to actual project conditions.

Core positioning: not a finished pole with electrical components added later, but an integrated system built around our own pole platform—combining structure, energy, electrical design, equipment interfaces, and project delivery from the start.

01 / PROJECT FIT

Is This the Right Project for an Integrated Off-Grid Solution?

Best Fit for Integrated Off-GridUsually Not the First Choice

• No reliable grid power or high trenching / grid-extension cost

• Remote, unattended, or difficult-to-maintain sites

• Coastal, mining, border, oil & gas, or other harsh environments

• Need to reduce on-site integration and multi-vendor coordination

• Formal engineering documentation or approval support is required

• Grid power is readily available at a clearly lower total cost

• Low-height, low-load, very simple temporary sites

• Persistent heavy shading with no practical backup energy source

• Customer already has a complete power subsystem and only needs a mechanical support pole

Need only the mechanical support platform? The solar surveillance pole can be supplied separately without the full electrical package.

02 / DESIGN BASIS

Start with the Actual Load and Site Conditions

We do not start with a fixed “solar panel + battery” package. We first confirm the actual loads, operating hours, solar resource, required autonomy, and site conditions, then size the system around the project.

Project Inputs & Configuration DecisionsProject Output

→Equipment Loads & Operating Hours

Define daily energy demand and load priority

Load schedule and system sizing basis

→Local solar resource & required autonomy

Determine PV and battery capacity

Initial PV / storage configuration

→Wind, temperature & corrosion exposure

Define pole, corrosion protection, energy storage and equipment protection requirements

Site-adapted configuration

Low-energy strategy: critical-load priority can be configured by project. When battery state of charge falls to a defined threshold, core cameras and communication devices can be prioritized while non-critical loads are reduced or disconnected to extend essential surveillance operation.

03 / PLATFORM

One Pole Platform, Two Procurement Options

A | Solar Surveillance Pole OnlyB | Complete Off-Grid Surveillance System

For customers with their own solar, battery, controller, or surveillance equipment supply chain.

Supply scope: pole, solar mounting structure, equipment mounting points, enclosure interfaces, cable-routing space, flange/foundation interfaces, corrosion protection, and custom mechanical interfaces.

For projects seeking to reduce multi-vendor coordination and on-site integration.

Integrated on the same pole platform: solar power, energy storage, control, power distribution/protection, enclosures, equipment interfaces, pre-wiring / pre-assembly and engineering documentation.

Pole-only supply covers the mechanical support function; the integrated solution adds system matching and coordinated project delivery on the same platform.

04 / INTEGRATION

What Is Actually Integrated: Results + Deliverables

Integration LayerIntegrated Result & Deliverables
Structural Integration

The complete equipment configuration is included in the structural check.

Deliverables: structural calculations, wind-load / bending-moment data, foundation reactions, and related drawings.

Energy & Electrical Integration

PV, storage, control, and protection are matched to load, solar resource, autonomy, and temperature.

Deliverables: load schedule, system configuration, wiring and electrical configuration documents.

Interface & Delivery Integration

Equipment mounting, enclosures, cable routing, grounding, and service interfaces are confirmed before shipment where practical.

Deliverables: equipment layout, interface drawings, wiring diagrams, installation and maintenance documents.

Why in-house pole manufacturing matters: the core load-bearing platform is under our own control, so the structure and electrical system can be adjusted together instead of forcing the electrical package onto a fully fixed standard pole.

05 / VALUE

What the Integrator Actually Gains

Split ProcurementIntegrated Delivery
Pole, electrical, and equipment suppliers coordinated separatelySingle project interface
Repeated structural and equipment confirmationUnified verification based on the complete configuration
On-site drilling, welding, and cable reroutingMaximum practical pre-assembly and interface reservation
Technical documents assembled from multiple suppliersCoordinated engineering documentation
Complex responsibility boundaries when issues occurClearer technical responsibility

TCO perspective: the integrated solution may not have the lowest initial purchase price, but it can reduce lifecycle cost by limiting rework, field modifications, multi-vendor coordination, work-at-height maintenance, and downtime risk.

06 / ENGINEERING CONFIDENCE

Engineering and Compliance Support

Proof PointProject Support
Structure & Project StandardsStructural design and verification are based on applicable project requirements, equipment configuration, and site wind conditions. Structural calculations, foundation reactions, and related drawings can be provided as agreed. Applicable standards and document scope are confirmed before production.
Environment & CorrosionCorrosion protection is selected for actual exposure conditions. ISO 12944 and applicable hot-dip galvanizing requirements can be referenced according to the project.
Electrical & CertificationCertification and compliance documents for PV, energy storage, control, and power distribution are provided according to the final brands and configuration, covering applicable IEC, UN 38.3, RoHS / REACH and target-market requirements.
Lightning Protection & GroundingLightning protection and grounding are included as part of system integration and implemented to applicable project standards and local electrical codes. Relevant design documents, interfaces, and test requirements can be provided.

EU projects: CE compliance for electrical components is confirmed according to the final selection and applicable legislation. Compliance requirements for the pole / fabricated steel structure are determined by product use, project scope, and applicable requirements such as EN 1090.

Installation support: grounding design documents, grounding interface requirements, and grounding resistance test requirements can be provided, with technical support for the site installation team. Final construction and acceptance responsibilities follow the project contract and local requirements.

07 / OPERATIONS

Maintenance, Warranty and Unattended-Site Risk

Project ConcernProject Support
MaintenanceFixed / base-hinged / lowering configurations are available, subject to payload, structure, cable routing and foundation conditions.
Unattended-Site SecurityOptional lockable enclosures, tamper detection, concealed battery placement, cable protection and remote alarms.
Warranty & After-SalesPole and electrical components are warranted according to contract and final brand/configuration. The complete project is coordinated through a single after-sales interface.
