Key Highlights

1. Multiple Safety Functions with Factory Acceptance Testing

Worm-gear self-locking, braking, and automatic top latching provide distinct motion-control and ring-support functions. Every unit undergoes full-stroke and applicable functional checks before dispatch, with traceable inspection records.

2. Comprehensive Engineering Documentation Package for Bidding & Compliance

An agreed English documentation package may include structural calculations, lifting-system verification, foundation reactions, and applicable inspection reports, supporting tender submissions and technical reviews.

3. Multi-Functional Integration: Unified Pole for Lighting & Security

A single structural shaft supports luminaires, PTZ cameras, perimeter radar, and environmental sensors—eliminating redundant poles and duplicate foundations, shortening project timelines and reducing total costs.

4. High-Precision Manufacturing for Seamless On-Site Installation

Flange flatness ≤ 0.5mm, shaft straightness ≤ L/750, bolt hole deviation ±1.5mm—seamless plug-and-play on-site. Multi-section slip-joint coaxiality QC ensures smooth carriage operation, eliminating batch-installation rework.

5. Multi-Zone Corrosion Protection with Moving-Part Reliability

Corrosion protection is configured for the project environment. Wire ropes, pulleys, shafts, and brake-related components are selected individually for strength, corrosion resistance, and wear.

Standard / Heavy-Duty Configuration Description

Our lowering high-mast lighting systems come in two versions for different wind loads and application scenarios.

☛①Standard Lowering High Mast

Ideal for conventional scenarios such as plazas, parking lots, and sports fields. Built with standard pole walls and flanges to meet regular wind loads and basic lighting demands with high cost performance.

☛②Heavy-Duty Lowering High Mast

Optimized for harsh industrial environments including ports, yards, mines, and coastal areas. With thicker pole shafts and reinforced flange structures, it supports higher wind resistance and additional installation of PTZ cameras and monitoring sensors for stable long-term operation.

Global Standards Adaptation&Compliance Delivery

Supported by an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, we can adapt pole design, manufacturing quality control, corrosion protection, and technical documentation to project-specific standards and local requirements, supporting overseas project approval, procurement, and acceptance.

  • ▲Structural Design & Wind Load Verification: Structural calculations can be performed in accordance with EN 40 / EN 1993, AASHTO, applicable AS/NZS standards, SASO requirements, or other project-specified codes. Design verification can incorporate site wind speed, equipment loads, mounting height, and environmental conditions.

  • ▲Welding & Manufacturing Control: Welding procedures and quality control can be adapted to applicable EN 1090 execution requirements and ISO 3834 welding quality requirements, with corresponding process, inspection, and documentation controls implemented as required by the project.

  • ▲Corrosion Protection: Hot-dip galvanizing and coating systems can be configured according to the project environment and required service life. Treatments can be specified to ISO 1461, ASTM A123/A123M, or other project requirements for standard outdoor, coastal, high-humidity, and high-salinity environments.

  • ▲Engineering Documentation Support: Project documentation can include structural calculation reports, shop drawings, material certificates, welding records, galvanizing or coating inspection reports, dimensional inspection records, and factory quality documentation for client, consultant, or EPC review.

  • ▲Multi-Market Project Support: We support project requirements across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. Applicable design standards, inspection requirements, and document packages can be defined according to the project location and technical specification.

Installation Reminders

  • ⚡ Galvanic Corrosion Prevention: Select suitable fasteners and isolation measures for dissimilar metals while preserving required earthing and bonding continuity.

  • 💧 Drainage & Sealing: Keep base drainage openings unobstructed; hand-hole covers and seals must remain intact. Never bury flange plates underground.

  • 🛡️ Surface Protection: Protect coated, passivated, and brushed surfaces from mechanical scratches during installation. Repair damaged areas with material-matched touch-up treatment: touch-up coating for carbon steel/aluminium coated finishes, local passivation for stainless steel.

  • 🔌 Grounding Requirement: Complete proper grounding and equipotential bonding in compliance with local electrical codes.

  • 🏗️ Foundation Rules: Anchor bolts and concrete foundations must satisfy local wind-load requirements. Erect poles only after concrete has fully cured.

  • ⚙️ Lifting-Lowering  Commissioning: Follow the model-specific manual to inspect ropes, transmission, brakes, limits, and latches, and complete the prescribed trial operation and locking checks.

FAQ

Product Definition & Applications

Q1: What types of projects are suitable for high-mast lighting systems?

A: Typical applications include container terminals, sports stadiums, highway interchange hubs, logistics parks, mining sites, large parking facilities, airports, and public squares—any open-area site requiring high-output, high-uniformity area lighting.

Q2: What is the difference between fixed-crown and lowering-crown lighting systems?

A: Fixed-crown systems permanently mount the luminaire ring at the pole top, requiring specialized lifting equipment for maintenance. Lowering-crown systems feature a built-in motorized winch mechanism that lowers the entire luminaire ring to ground level, enabling safe, low-cost maintenance without cranes or aerial work platforms. Lowering-crown systems are our standard product line.

Raising & Lowering System

Q3: Can the luminaire ring still be lowered during a power outage?

A: Manual emergency operation is available. Follow the model-specific procedure after checking the system condition. Pendant cable length and operating distance are defined in the configuration.

Q4: What is the hoisting speed of the luminaire ring?

A: Reference speed is 3–5 m/min. A 30 m one-way travel takes approximately 6–10 minutes, excluding unlatching, inspection, maintenance, and relatching.

Installation & Compatibility

Q5: Can the poles support additional equipment such as CCTV cameras and sensors alongside lighting?

A: Additional camera and sensor loads can be included in the structural design. Specify whether equipment is fixed to the shaft or mounted on the lowering ring, with the corresponding cabling and maintenance method.

Important Notice

Specifications are typical values for reference only under standard conditions — not a guarantee. Final performance shall be determined by project design calculations and factory test reports. Consult a local engineer before specifying.
